Emilia is a lifelong music lover. She started piano lessons at age five and violin lessons at age seven, pursuing rigorous classical training through high school. She has performed in a number of notable venues, including Carnegie Hall’s Weill recital hall. As a member of the New Jersey Youth Symphony, she won 1st place in the symphony orchestra division of the Summa Cum Laude Youth Music Festival in Vienna. She also taught piano students throughout high school. In her college years, Emilia adopted the electric violin and electric organ to branch out into rock, jazz, folk, and adjacent styles. She has conducted choirs at local churches and played on a number of artists’ records.
Notably, she orchestrated and played for a progressive rock band, The Inquisition. In 2025, she recorded a live Christmas EP for The Neighbor’s Kids and plans to continue writing and playing. Emilia loves to teach her students how to use every fundamental tool available to create a unique musical sound.
